Situated in a coastal municipality, MSUN recognizes the vital role of clean water in sustaining both marine and human life. The university conducts research on watershed management, wastewater treatment, and water quality monitoring to ensure safe and sustainable water systems. MSUN also assists local communities in implementing sanitation programs and building resilient water infrastructures. Through environmental awareness campaigns and partnerships with LGUs, MSUN promotes responsible water use, helping preserve vital aquatic ecosystems for future generations.
