Supporting aquatic ecosystems through education and action

MSUN delivers strong educational and extension programs on freshwater ecosystems and water management. Through its Research and Extension offices, the university runs projects on aquaculture breeding, freshwater prawn and tilapia culture, microplastic and litter assessments, and water quality monitoring. These are paired with community trainings, workshops, and outreach that equip local farmers, fisherfolk, and stakeholders with sustainable irrigation, conservation, and aquaculture practices.
