In a collaborative effort with the Local Government of Naawan, Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) gathered all third- and fourth-year students at the Training and Student Activity Center (TSAC) on March 6, 2024, to participate in the Career Consultancy Services offered by ThinkGLOBAL.
The program was designed to assist students in transitioning from academic life to the professional workforce. It provided comprehensive career guidance, including career planning, resume writing, interview preparation, and professional networking strategies. By offering practical tools and expert advice, the consultancy aimed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the competitive job market successfully.
According to the Director of Student Services and Development (OSSD), the activity was essential in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world career demands. It empowered students to make informed decisions about their futures, explore diverse career paths, and develop the skills necessary to succeed in various industries.
For fourth-year students preparing to graduate, the program offered a timely opportunity to reflect on career goals and understand employer expectations. Third-year students gained early guidance in planning their professional trajectories and identifying areas for skill enhancement.
The consultancy highlighted MSUN’s commitment to producing career-ready graduates who are academically competent and equipped with the soft skills, confidence, and professional insights necessary to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the broader economy.
Through initiatives like this, MSUN continues to strengthen its student support programs, ensuring that learners receive guidance, mentorship, and exposure needed to excel in their chosen fields and become responsible, impactful professionals in the future.
