The Gender and Development (GAD) Office and the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM) of Mindanao State University at Naawan successfully conducted their Mid-Year Performance Review, Action Planning, and Family Day 2025 on October 22–24, 2025, at Milgee’s Vacation House, Cagayan de Oro City.
The three-day activity aimed to assess the accomplishments of both offices, review fund utilization and audit findings, and collaboratively plan the 2026 GAD and IPDM programs and budget.
The first day focused on reviewing performance and presenting the 2026 GAD Plan and Budget, followed by group workshops on student-focused, employee-focused, and research and extension programs, as well as on policy and manual enhancements. The day ended with a fellowship dinner and socials.
The second day continued with the plenary and presentation of outputs, highlighting proposed activities that strengthen gender mainstreaming, peace education, and organizational wellness. A Mental Wellness and World Café session capped the day, fostering teamwork and reflection.
The final day was dedicated to evaluation, feedback, and signing of the Pledge of Support, affirming the participants’ commitment to advancing gender equality and peace development in the University.
The GAD and IPDM Mid-Year Performance Review, Action Planning, and Family Day 2025 effectively provided a platform for assessing office performance, enhancing collaboration, and promoting gender-responsive and peace-oriented initiatives. The active participation of GAD and IPDM staff, focal persons, and committee members demonstrated the institution’s continuing commitment to advancing gender equality, inclusivity, and peace development at MSU Naawan and its partner communities.
