The MSU Main Campus Sindangan Extension, under the guidance of Campus Director Dr. Florencio D. Recoleto, Jr., recently embarked on a benchmarking initiative at MSU at Naawan, which took place on February 22, 2024. The focus of this endeavor was to explore and understand the BS in Fisheries program offered by MSU at Naawan.
Accompanying the MSU delegation were representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sindangan, a first-class municipality situated in the province of Zamboanga del Norte. This collaborative effort highlights a shared commitment to advancing education and development in the field of fisheries within the region.
Upon their arrival at MSU at Naawan, they were warmly received by Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa, who graciously shared insights into the best practices of the campus. During the benchmarking activity, fruitful discussions were held regarding potential areas of collaboration between the MSU Main Campus Sindangan Extension, the LGU of Sindangan, and MSU at Naawan. Specifically, there was a focus on exploring opportunities for joint efforts in the realm of fisheries, emphasizing the importance of synergy between academia and local governance in driving sustainable development initiatives.
