Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) continues to take meaningful steps toward inclusivity by ensuring that key areas of the campus are accessible to persons with disabilities (PWDs), particularly those using wheelchairs.
As part of its ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive learning environment, the university has installed wheelchair ramps in strategic locations across campus buildings. These ramps provide improved mobility and ease of access, allowing students, faculty, staff, and visitors with mobility challenges to navigate the campus more safely and independently.
While accessibility remains a continuing priority, the presence of these ramps reflects MSUN’s proactive approach in addressing the needs of the community. The initiative highlights the university’s commitment to fostering a supportive and enabling environment where everyone is given the opportunity to participate fully in academic and campus life.
University officials underscored that even incremental improvements, such as the installation of ramps, are important steps toward achieving a more inclusive and barrier-free campus. These efforts also serve as a foundation for future enhancements in accessibility infrastructure.
Through this initiative, MSU at Naawan reinforces its role as an institution that values inclusivity, dignity, and equal access—ensuring that no member of its community is left behind.
